A food court is a dining concept that brings together a variety of food vendors and eateries in a shared, communal space. It’s often located within shopping malls, airports, universities, office buildings, and other busy areas where people gather.
Food courts offer a diverse range of cuisines and dining options, providing customers with a convenient and dynamic dining experience. A typical food court will be manned by 5 stall holders who will need to take orders , collect payment and prepare food. With the Butterfly kiosk system, patrons will order their food and pay directly from well appointed kiosks installed within the foodcourt.
Once payment is made at any of these kiosks, the orders will be sent and either printed or displayed via Kitchen display system at the respective stall to be prepared. These 5 stallholders can now focus solely on food preparation and fulfilment. There is no longer the need to deploy additional manpower to take the orders and collect payment hence a providing a cost saving to the business.
